Over the past few years, ROBLOX has jumped back and forth between which offsite URLs should be allowed or not. Currently, a select set of URLs are allowed, but I have yet to find any documentation for which URLs actually are allowed.
Allowing off-site Links. ROBLOX can only make currently-whitelisted links clickable if the issue is it's super dangerous to go from having to copy/paste links into the browser address bar to making them clickable. I'm trying to understand what your argument is, sorry if I say something you already refuted.
Just because those unsafe comments exists does not validate having direct links to websites at a simple click away. Also, a link was posted to an admin mentioning that their decision to not use offsite links was because of the fact that besides the sites allowed, most of these don’t have a moderation system on them.
If ROBLOX is magically able to prevent references to non-whitelisted links (which I’m doubtful they’ll be able to do - there’s always a way around the filter), the malicious users will just start using the whitelisted links as a bridge to their undesirable content. …But Twitter doesn’t remove profane/inappropriate content.
Many exploits are scams to get you to download malware, such as a keylogger or other phishing program that can be used to steal personal information you have on your computer, including your Roblox password. Don't exploit; it's not worth it.
"Don't post off-site links on ROBLOX. All links should go to www.roblox.com only." the URL. Exceptions to this rule are Twitch.tv, YouTube and Twitter links.
Roblox Studio has access to CoreGui (which you can't really access), you can find exploit script sources, make code against them. So with that said, you should adapt to using Studio only unless you're fixing an issue that is limited to only executors.
Local scripts work inside the character model (even though the character model is inside the workspace), consider it an exception to the general rule.
Server scripts should be placed in ServerScriptService.Modules only needed by the server should be placed in ServerStorage.Local scripts should be placed in StarterPlayerScripts, if they are made for something that has to do with character or humanoid of the player, place it in StarterCharacterScripts.More items...•
In short: Yes, you could get banned. If your game is on Roblox's platform and it violates their ToS, private or not, you'll get banned if Roblox is made aware of it.
Not an IP ban but prevents someone to play the game indefinitely. They would just ban you both if they find out he was scripting, which is inevitable.
Roblox gives the player's computer full control of their character, so physics exploits (noclip, teleport, fly) are possible. Exploiters, however, cannot see anything that only the server can see (stuff inside ServerScriptService and ServerStorage).
A LocalScript is a type of Script that runs on players' client instead of the server. These scripts can only be run in a player's Backpack, PlayerGui or Character.
Exploiters can see scripts in the Workspace but if they aren't LocalScripts, then they can't see their contents or anything. Server scripts don't have their bytecode (what's necessary to interpret and run the code) sent to the client, so likewise they can't access any of it's content.
Can Scripts Be Used in Roblox Mobile? Unfortunately, the mobile version of Roblox comes with many limitations put in place to allow games to run properly on devices without much processing power. Additionally, scripts usually require the user to root their phone.
If your scripts are intended to run by a single user you can place them in ~/bin. If your scripts are system-wide you can probably place them in /usr/local/bin. If your scripts are meant to be only used under special circumstances or environments you can put them even in /opt/myscripts and add this directory to $PATH.

Missed the nostalgic feel of ROBLOX SFing, so here is a look at a game I've been working on!
I keep seeing TikToks of people going through drive thrus or waiting in line for 30 mins at universal and I wanna do that. Does Roblox have an adult player base or is this not the move for me?
Ok, so the title says it all. I am sick of seeing all these games that are clearly a cash grab, and I have been blind to it until recently checking what my son has been begging for Robux for. Take for example Ninja Legends 2. These guys just put some shine on the original game and put a number 2 at the end of it.
