nein, ROBLOX physics run @ 240Hz, it is because most devices are 60Hz, and the engine is only ""optimized"" for that. because the cant code right so when you have above 60 frames you go faster then usual so they just locked it Because ROBLOX isn't good anymore TBH my opinion.
The Roblox engine can go over 60fps, it has nothing to do with Physics ( Roblox does *not* calculate physics at a specific framerate ). In fact, if you play Roblox in VR, Roblox runs at 90fps. The fact of the matter is, Roblox hasn't focused any engineering efforts to increase the framerate cap.
(Read below) The reason I don’t like heightmaps is two-fold: Roblox has you manually scale the X, Y, and Z sizes. While this gives you a finer degree of control, as a consequence it’s much harder to get an “aspect ratio” of sorts that doesn’t look stretched horizontally or vertically.
Streaming will help the client greatly, however the server still has to handle that sheer amount of terrain, which is why it takes so long to load. When Roblox spins up a game, it has to download world data for the game. A map of this scale will slow that process down a lot. Id recommend your own streaming solution.
Roblox FPS Unlocker is a free and open-source program for Microsoft Windows that allows "unlocking" the Roblox frame rate, increasing it above the default limit of 60 FPS.
Regardless of whether ROBLOX should support 144 Hz, if they do, performance is not something for you to worry about on your end. The thing is that 60/s is ideal for a lot of things to appear smooth or update frequently enough. This is the perfect number.
The total map size will be or currently is 32,768x32,768 studs from edge to edge and will be completely made out of Smooth Terrain. There will also be monsters, but I will optimize them so the only spawn when you are in specific area… Yeah. Techinally there is no such thing as “unlimited space”.
When it is finished, fans should open up their Roblox game, start any level they want to play, and hit Shift+ F5 to change the framerate.
Even though higher refresh rates should provide a better gaming experience than 60Hz in all use cases, 60Hz is still good for gaming.
If you're on a very tight budget and don't plan to upgrade your hardware for a long while, you'll be perfectly fine with 60hz. Up until a few years ago it was considered excellent. Standards inevitably rise over time, so 144hz may be considered obsolete within 10 years. For now, play with what you have.
about 314 square kilometersWhat is Valheim, the Viking game blowing up on Steam? According to fans on Reddit, Valheim's map (a flat circle with a 10-kilometer radius) measures about 314 square kilometers — almost 16 times larger than The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.
What Is the Valheim World Map Size? Based on some clear calculations, Reddit user u/Patchumz figured out the size of the Valheim map to be 10,000 meters/tiles in each direction from the center. So total diameter size of the Valheim map is 20,000m.
The Longest Road is the largest map in the game, exclusive to Endless Mode. It is 30 islands long, each with a Midnight Road-length section, each also has a theme.

Every single time someone asks this question, the comments are full of incorrect answers. The Roblox engine can go over 60fps, it has nothing to do with Physics ( Roblox does *not* calculate physics at a specific framerate ). In fact, if you play Roblox in VR, Roblox runs at 90fps.

RebderStepped runs at 60 hertz, so ROBLOX runs at 60 hertz. -_ (._.)/-
Nah it was safe but the problem is that ROBLOX outwardly bans people using it.
This is not the case anymore. VR increases the FPS cap.
The fact of the matter is, Roblox hasn't focused any engineering efforts to increase the framerate cap. It doesn't make an entire difference especially when the market of devices using 120+hz devices is very little.
I'm thinking about a new pc that can handle heavy multitasking which for me is just having 100-200 tabs open and being able to play roblox on max graphics settings.
For the ryzen 5 3600 it is a great cpu for almost any system, for buying a graphics card new, if your only playing roblox a 2060 or a 2060 super would get good to push those frames on roblox or just about any other game at decent settings
