Of course if you're not 101% sure if the cheat is not active/running, you'll get a ban if you connect to a VAC secured server. Which I think it's just a matter of time now, since you used a cheat. See ya in the next ban wave mate.

Various cheats have been known to be so poorly written as to trigger VAC bans even when you 'exit' them. Or they auto-run because tehy're basically part of a bot net or whatever.
Considering regular exploits will rarely get you banned I'd say you're safe to use the VR exploit but if you're really worried you could try using it on an alt for a few days and if you dont get banned use it on your main. Ok :) Thanks. I might just make a complete alt just to use the VR exploit and maybe change to my main.
They didn’t get banned by “mistake”. Roblox strictly doesn’t allow third-party software to be used to modify the player’s client. I don’t think it is an exploit at all and you can’t gain unfair advantages. I think this should be like an FPS unlocker and be allowed too.

Exploiting or cheating is unfair to all Roblox players and creates a poor experience for everyone. These actions are a violation of the Roblox Terms of Use, and will lead to the deletion of an account.
The VAC system reliably detects cheats using their cheat signatures. Any third-party modifications to a game designed to give one player an advantage over another is classified as a cheat or hack and will trigger a VAC ban. This includes modifications to a game's core executable files and dynamic link libraries.
You can mod it all you want. No. That's not what did it. The message you are showing has nothing at all to do with a single player game that doesn't have a vac process attached to it.
Yes, the likelihood of you getting caught is probably extremely rare, but why break TOS and take the risk when you don't need to do so? Do not use executors such as Synapse to test your “anti-cheat”. Use common sense, local scripts, and have strong server remote protection.
VAC is not known to IP ban.
If you know just one thing about Valve's Anti-Cheat system (VAC), you probably know that a ban issued through it lasts forever. As Valve's support page lays out clearly, "VAC bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Steam Support."

Steam is not outright down in China, mind. Access seems intermittent, sometimes not loading, sometimes loading slowly. Game Developer (the site formerly known ha-ha-hilariously as Gamasutra) relay reports that many users are able to get on Steam, they just might have to retry or wait a few minutes.
Users can be banned for different lengths of time. Users who violate Roblox's Terms of Use will be given one of these bans. These can range from in-experience bans to permanent IP bans.
Usually you get two warnings before a temporary ban. Generally your first ban will be about 3 and 1/2 days, so it isn't that long. If you do something really severe though, you might get banned immediately, and each time you get banned the time increases.
In short: Yes, you could get banned. If your game is on Roblox's platform and it violates their ToS, private or not, you'll get banned if Roblox is made aware of it.
