With over 164 million users worldwide, making sure everyone can enjoy their time on the platform is an important and demanding task. For that reason, Roblox has a team of moderators and automated systems already in place.
Essentially, blocking someone cuts off all social features on roblox.com. We're working on expanding the feature to in-game interactions, as well. If either you or the blocked individual attempt any of these actions, we'll display messages indicating that they're not available.
Note that there's no direct way to find out if you've been blocked – there will be no notifications or messages from administrators. You will have to follow the clues above and play detective in order to find out. If you try to message someone and find out you can't, the evidence is clear: you've been blocked!
You can block other users that may be harassing, bullying, or spamming your child. & For more information on this feature, read How to Block Another User. We also provide the ability to Report Abuse from everywhere in the apps and experiences.
Users can be blocked in one of two ways—their usernames can be searched in Roblox's search bar and blocked from their profile, or, if someone is bothering you during an experience, players can be blocked at any time by locating their username within the experience's player list.
