This is the newest milestone in our ongoing mission to help you personalize your avatar. To customize your character size, click “Avatar” in the Roblox website’s sidebar to go to the Avatar Customizer. You have to be R15 to change your scale, so make sure that your Avatar Type is set to R15.
Scaling in Roblox Studio. By default, all games that support R15 characters allow players to use the avatar scale that they set on the Avatar page. If your game only allows R6, characters will always be the default height and width. To determine if your game allows scaling: Go to the Develop page.
I misinterpreted “character head height” as size. As far as detecting above ground level the best method seems to be to raycast down from the position of the head. (Of course you can do Pos±Size/2 to get the top or bottom of the head)

As the title implies, wearing certain head shapes causes the character's head to become really tiny. This is reflected both in the avatar editor and in-game. Website screenshot In-game screenshot I've confirmed that this occurs when wearing either the Cheeks or Narrow head while using the R15 body.
This bug happens every time. To reproduce the bug, equip and unequip the Rthro head, and the normal head will become giant. Expected result is the normal head is normal size.
