Does Roblox use GPU? System hardware requirements Graphics Card: On PC/Windows, the Roblox application requires DirectX 10 or higher feature level support. For the best performance we recommend either a computer less than 5 years old with a dedicated video card, or a laptop less than 3 years old with an integrated video card.
Why It Happens
testBtn.Parent = pluginGui button.Click:connect (function () pluginGui.Enabled = not pluginGui.Enabled end) You’re also able to develop your GUI in studio, stick it in your plugin script, then do script.PluginMainFrame:Clone ().Parent = pluginGui so you don’t have to make the whole GUI by script. Some example code:
Try these fixes:
Launch a Roblox game and then open Task Manager. From the process tab, right click the process and open file location. That is the executable you need to change the GPU settings on.
Discrete or Dedicated GPU simply means the GPU has its own resources to handle all the graphical data. On the other hand, integrated GPU means the GPU has to use resources that are primarily meant for CPU.
Usually Integrated GPUs are embedded inside the CPU and discrete GPUs have a separate place or slot on the motherboard. Laptops generally have their discrete GPU soldered on the motherboard so they are not upgradeable. 1. Continue this thread.
It's called an 'Integrated' GPU not a built in GPU, and it's called a discrete GPU and not a dedicated GPU. I know the built in GPU is called "Integra ted" GPU. You probably haven't read the whole post before posting this. I mentioned the word "integrated".
Roblox won't use my GPU. I have a 1050ti, and a pretty ok CPU. You'd expect to say "Alright, that means this guy can run roblox at max settings, rite?". Wrong.
Meanwhile, the GPU is just still. It's just a thin green line. Nothing more. and not only that, but NVIDIA Shadowplay doesn't recognize Roblox, therefore making me unable to see how my FPS is doing. This is a huge problem in terms or preformence. Please help.
Ok so recently my PC's GTX 1060 6GB broke and I don't know how since I've been grounded for weeks and I've only been on it yesterday and 2 days before.
Roblox isn’t going to break a gpu, it’s capped at 60fps for physics related reasons and barely utilizes the gpu anyway unless you’re running TFIB studio beta versions or something with the gpu accelerated lighting.
Yeah it defiantly not because of Roblox you can rule that out. Along with the other pointers you should check temperatures during a stress test and turn off any overclocks you got.
I'm thinking about a new pc that can handle heavy multitasking which for me is just having 100-200 tabs open and being able to play roblox on max graphics settings.
For the ryzen 5 3600 it is a great cpu for almost any system, for buying a graphics card new, if your only playing roblox a 2060 or a 2060 super would get good to push those frames on roblox or just about any other game at decent settings
