Roblox isn’t available as an Oculus Quest 2 game, so you’ll first need a VR-ready PC. That means your PC needs to meet the minimum system requirements: After you’ve confirmed that your PC can run Oculus Quest 2, you’ll need a link cable to connect your PC to your Quest 2. Oculus Link Cable
In order to play Roblox VR on your Quest 2, you must first configure your PC and headset for PC VR gaming. The easiest way to start is Oculus Link and use the Quest 2 charging cable for connecting your PC and headset. Go ahead and watch the official Oculus Link setup video which gives quite a good overview of the required steps:
The Oculus Quest 2 is an advanced version and does not need a PC to operate. You can easily enjoy different Virtual Reality games with just your headset and controllers without the use of a PC. You will, however, need to connect to your Smartphone Occulus app.
There are two main ways to turn your Quest 2 into a PC VR headset – connecting the headset and PC via USB 3 cable ( Oculus Link) or over Wi-Fi ( Air Link ). The minimum PC requirements to run VR games on your PC (using either Oculus Link or Air Link) are:
Once you’re connected, you can enable VR from the Roblox setting menu. If that doesn't work, install and run SteamVR to enable VR in Roblox. This article explains how to play Roblox on the Oculus Quest and Oculus Quest 2 virtual reality headsets.
You can test whether the connection is a success. To do so, find a Roblox title, click the play button, and then put on your headset. You should be good to go.
The newly upgraded Oculus Quest 2 VR headset would seem to present the perfect VR scenario for playing your favorite Roblox titles. Sadly, Roblox isn’t available as an Oculus Quest or Quest 2 game. But don’t fret. You can still play your favorite Roblox titles on your Oculus Quest 2 headset with a workaround.
Once you’ve linked your PC to the Quest 2 headset successfully, you should be able to play any Roblox game on your headset. For worlds that don’t support VR, you’ll play on a virtual desktop on your headset. But for all worlds compatible with VR, you’ll see an “Enable VR” option in the in-game settings.
At this time, Quest 2 doesn’t have Roblox on its list of in-house games, so you can’t enjoy your Roblox classics using the headset. To do so, you need a PC fast enough to support VR technology. The process involves connecting your PC to the Quest using a high-quality USB cable explicitly built for this purpose. Your number one choice should be the Oculus link cable, but there are also third-party options that allow you to run Roblox on Quest without issues.
Hopefully, Roblox will eventually be included in Oculus Quest 2. But until then, these workarounds should be helpful.
Head to the Oculus Quest 2 setup page and click DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE. When the download is complete, follow the on-screen instructions to install it. Launch the app. Make sure you click Devices on the left pane. Click Add Headset. Select Quest 2, then click Continue.
From the Oculus app, click Settings. Then select the General section and toggle on Unknown sources. Click Allow. Head back to roblox.com and select one of several VR-compatible games. Launch a game and put on your headset. Then you’ll be playing Roblox in VR.

Roblox has VR support. The official website specifically lists the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. However, any device that can use SteamVR or the Oculus Store on PC is likely to be compatible.
Since the Oculus Quest 2 is a standalone device with access to the Oculus Store, it’s logical to believe that Roblox VR is available. However, the Roblox developers have not released a native app for Oculus Quest 2. That means the only way to play Roblox VR on the Quest 2 is to use it as a PC-connected headset.
