To enable voice chat in Roblox:
Spatial voice chat is nothing new as it can be heard a lot in games like Among Us and Sea of Thieves. The team at Roblox wanted to tackle the issue of children’s’ safety by requiring players to be the minimum age of 18 in order to use the spatial voice chat function.
Roblox voice chat feature: When is its release date and is it safe?
Well, as you've probably surmised by this point, Roblox now has voice chat which was just released out of beta -- "Spatial voice chat," to be specific. Spatial voice chat is a feature that alters the volume (and sometimes the sound) of speakers depending on their position relative to you in the game world.
As of Nov. 10, 2021, Roblox has officially released its spacial voice chat to everyone over the age of 13 who has successfully completed their age verification process.
Roblox sees its new voice product as a natural extension of the way that text chat works now, but instead of text bubbles that pop up over an avatar's head, visible to anybody around them, players will be able to talk naturally to the other people they bump into.
The Roblox voice chat release date turned out to be Tuesday 9th November 2021, with the developers adding the new Spatial Voice feature on that very day. If you boot up a Roblox experience that supports Spatial Voice, then, you should be able to try it out today!

The main concern with this sort of update is that Roblox’s primary player demographic is relatively young — with the devs revealing in their February 26 2021 investors day video that over half of the total users are under the age of 13.
Safety and chat moderation has always been a priority for Roblox Corporation, so exactly how they intend to put the “ safe” in “safe voice chat” is unclear, but the method in how they do so will certainly be a contributing factor in how Roblox can maintain their priority to the safety of their players.
As nearly half of Roblox's player base consists of users over the age of 13, how to properly manage the safety of younger users has remained a concern. In a blog post, Roblox stated that the spatial voice feature will only be accessible to those who have verified that they are over the age of 13.
Once you've verified your age, voice chat can be toggled on and off within the setting menu. On PC, look for the gear icon in the upper right hand corner, then from the drop down menu click Settings. From settings, locate the Privacy tab from the menu on the left.
As of now, there's been no official statement regarding what can and can't be said over voice chat. Currently, swearing receives no form of punishment or censoring by Roblox—this will more than likely change however as the kinks continue to be worked out.
Whether you view it as unfortunate or not, not every Roblox experience will feature voice chat compatibility. The decision is completely up the individual game developers as to whether or not they want to allow it. If you're looking for a game to try out voice chat, Mic Up appears to be the current favorite.
