In the Star Wars films and animated television series, the most famous Force users to wield blue lightsabers are Anakin Skywalker, his son Luke Skywalker, his Jedi Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Ezra Bridger of Star Wars: Rebels.
Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order has eight different lightsaber colors available for you to customize your lightsaber. They have no effect other than looking neat (and sounding different, more on that below) -- in other words, lightsaber colors are purely cosmetic.
The most famous lightsaber type is the standard blade. This is the weapon – or more properly, the tool – used by the likes of Luke and Anakin Skywalker. The plasma blade is generated by the crystal within the hilt, and although anyone can use a lightsaber only a Force user can operate it to its full potential.
They are not heavy or anything, but total control over a lightsaber requires a lot of skill, which is why “regular” characters usually avoid them, although there have been instances in the Expanded Universe where non-Force users used a lightsaber in combat.

Unfortunately, there is currently no option to recolor your lightsaber red in the Fallen Order. While there is still the possibility that Respawn may add the color in the future, we believe that the option will remain out of the game due to the simple fact that Cal is a Jedi, and Jedi don't usually associate with the red lightsaber.
