After roblox’s Shadow Update and RTHRO Update, roblox became more and more CPU intensive so getting a GPU won’t help. I suggest getting a recent processor like AMD’s 3rd gen processors with Radeon Vega Graphics or Intel’s 8th or 9th gen processors with INTEL HD GRAPHICS.
Edit: After some tinkering I got roblox to run on OpenGL which utilizes my GPU and got Streamlabs OBS to use an encoder that utilizes my CPU. Now I can stream at 1080p, 30 fps, and max graphics while I still have at least 60 fps :D CPU. So much CPU. You can run roblox fine on an integrated GPU as long as your CPU’s up to par.
Roblox recommends you have at least 1 GB memory on Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10 Which CPU is better for Minecraft, AMD or Intel? I have a core i5 1035G1 processor with Intel UHD 620 graphics and 8 GB of RAM, but I can't even maintain 10 fps on Fortnite.
For the ryzen 5 3600 it is a great cpu for almost any system, for buying a graphics card new, if your only playing roblox a 2060 or a 2060 super would get good to push those frames on roblox or just about any other game at decent settings Good Luck!
ROBLOX mainly uses the CPU, because it was made that way.
Graphics Card: On PC/Windows, the Roblox application requires DirectX 10 or higher feature level support. For the best performance we recommend either a computer less than 5 years old with a dedicated video card, or a laptop less than 3 years old with an integrated video card.
Having your GPU become the bottleneck is a preferable option because your CPU's job isn't only to run your game. It has to manage your operating system and background applications, too. Having a bit of headroom in terms of CPU will make your computer run much more smoothly.

The RAM usage for Roblox games is extremely low. If you are having memory problems while running it, it might be a different issue. There are some Windows installations that might limit your RAM capacity.
The minimum system requirements for Roblox requires you to have 1GB RAM memory, and 1.6Ghz processor. The HP 15.6 exceeds these requirements with it having 8GB Ram memory and 2.5Ghz processor.
If 1440p or 1080p is enough for your gaming needs, you'll see a significant FPS boost with a much more affordable GPU. And if you're currently building your own Windows 10 gaming PC, you can choose the perfect GPU for the way you game.
GeForce GTX 1650 gaming laptops are built with the breakthrough graphics performance of the award-winning NVIDIA Turing™ architecture. With performance that's up to 2X the GeForce GTX 950M and up to 70% faster than GTX 1050, it's the supercharger for today's most popular games, and even faster with modern titles.
Hence the answer to the question, “does graphics card affect FPS”? is a resounding yes! The choice of graphics card has a direct impact on the FPS on graphically intensive tasks like gaming and also with using video editing software.

Roblox is an online game. If you have a poor internet connection, it can affect your game. If your internet connection is lagging, unplug your modem or router and plug it back in to restart it. Then wait a few minutes for it to reboot.
ROBLOX seems to have a problem using multiple cores of a processor, and as shown by HWMonitor, and will use all threads when it is not selected, but as soon as you select the process it will start using only two cores, leading a lot of stuttering.
Under "video settings" (or something similar) you see a tab where you can select your GPU. If my suspicions were correct, then it should say "integrated GPU" or "Auto." Change it to "Nvidia high-performance GPU" (or something similar), click apply, and you should be done.

While it comes with an Intel® Celeron® Processor N4020 which only supports entry-level applications and software, this processor does support DirectX 12 (DirectX 10 recommended by Roblox), can reach up to 2.80 GHz speed (1.6 Ghz or better recommended by Roblox) and integrated graphics Intel® UHD Graphics 600.

I'm thinking about a new pc that can handle heavy multitasking which for me is just having 100-200 tabs open and being able to play roblox on max graphics settings.

You need to have a CPU with base clock speed of at least 3.6 GHz or 3.8 GHz. But, if you need something in budget, I suggest you to go for AMD's APUs (processor with a good gpu) So, here's the thing. If you want better performance, then you've to spend some money.
Typically if you're looking for good, all-round power in a laptop, Intel Core i5 processors from one of the recent generations are a great bet. ... Intel chips tend to offer betterperformance per core, but AMD is compensating with more cores at a given price and better onboard graphics.
AMD has better value in almost every way right now. For most situations, AMD is a no brainer. Similar performance at often less than half the cost. Best value option right now is the Ryzen 1600. It’s a first series release from 2017 but still quite current and cheap. It’s an excellent choice for a value-based build. It’s a six core, 12 thread monster.
Roblox isn’t a very well optimized game, if there are a lot of parts that aren’t connected to the world and are just “sitting around”, it can tax the CPU very heavily. This means that if you play a game that has a lot of moving parts, it will probably run worse than a simpler game like “Framed”. Which has very few moving parts depending on the map.
As for Roblox, any new $500 budget gaming system should be able to play it fine. My nephew was playing it on much older hardware.
Roblox will probably run pretty smoothly. Roblox is not a very CPU or GPU intensive game, and you can always turn down your graphics in settings if you need to. On the other hand, Minecraft requires a lot more computer resources, so it may be hard to run consistently at 60 fps. If you're considering running Minecraft on that laptop, I would suggest installing OptiFine (
