After roblox’s Shadow Update and RTHRO Update, roblox became more and more CPU intensive so getting a GPU won’t help. I suggest getting a recent processor like AMD’s 3rd gen processors with Radeon Vega Graphics or Intel’s 8th or 9th gen processors with INTEL HD GRAPHICS.
Edit: After some tinkering I got roblox to run on OpenGL which utilizes my GPU and got Streamlabs OBS to use an encoder that utilizes my CPU. Now I can stream at 1080p, 30 fps, and max graphics while I still have at least 60 fps :D CPU. So much CPU. You can run roblox fine on an integrated GPU as long as your CPU’s up to par.
Computer does not have the latest version of DirectX (Roblox requires v9 or later) Graphics card does not have the latest drivers. Graphics card is not supported by Roblox (rarely the case) Player has changed Roblox graphics settings.
Graphics Card: On PC/Windows, the Roblox application requires DirectX 10 or higher feature level support. For the best performance we recommend either a computer less than 5 years old with a dedicated video card, or a laptop less than 3 years old with an integrated video card.
Note: Computers with enough power can handle 10, but for low-end computers, a graphics level between 1 and 5 is recommended. The GraphicsMode drop-down box shows a list of all graphics modes for Roblox to work.
CPUCPU is 100% while GPU rests at 2% while playing roblox.
For the best performance we recommend either a computer less than 5 years old with a dedicated video card, or a laptop less than 3 years old with an integrated video card. Processor: Roblox recommends you have a recent processor (2005+) with a clock speed of 1.6 Ghz or better.
ROBLOX seems to have a problem using multiple cores of a processor, and as shown by HWMonitor, and will use all threads when it is not selected, but as soon as you select the process it will start using only two cores, leading a lot of stuttering.
All the Roblox games are built on the same engine, but a game with more data to load will require more RAM. Roblox games' RAM consumption hovers around 300 to 600 MB.
Roblox recommends you have a recent processor (2005+) with a clock speed of 1.6 GHz or better.
Some Roblox games might require vigorous use of your CPU in order to render in game objects with textures. I also realised that the game engine itself uses a lot of my computer's CPU without any games running. There are a ways to reduce CPU usage for Roblox nonetheless. 2nd way: Try to make less movements if possible.

Roblox can easily run with integrated graphics as I have played Roblox with no problems on a 3rd gen i3 processor with integrated Intel HD 2500 graphics, and I also had 4gb ram.
1-1 of 1 Answer. No, you're going to need a faster processor, ideally an AMD Ryzen 5 or 7 (or Intel i5 or i7) to play those games. Roblox doesn't need quite as much, so you could probably get away with a Ryzen 3 or i3 for that one.
The Roblox requirements are very low. Any PC or laptop made in the last 10 years will have no problem running it.An Intel Celeron D 430 CPU is required at a minimum to run Roblox, Whereas, an Intel Core i3-2120 is recommended.
RAM or Memory: Roblox recommends you have at least 1 GB memory on Windows 7 And 2 GB memory on Windows 8 and Windows 10. Storage Space: Roblox recommends you have at least 20 MB of system storage space to install Roblox.
Integrated GPUs Compared What is this? We recommend Intel UHD 630 as the bear minimum. Roblox performs just right with medium graphics settings on this iGPU.
You can select one by going into Roblox Studio, going into settings (ALT+S), going into Render tab, scrolling down to general and picking a graphics mode from the drop-down. This setting only affects Roblox Studio.

This setting only affects Roblox Studio, Changes can be only done to Roblox Studio and has been tested by 3rd party apps such as MSI Afterburner, Roblox currently supports only Direct3D11 in Roblox Player to keep support for playing in Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 Operating Systems.
Graphics settings are a 10-level adjustable bar for the looks (and performance) of Roblox .
Roblox's visual feature set is now more complete at this level. Terrain now receives normal mapping, and water reflects and refracts, and is now transparent. Items from 7 are increased even further. Extra post-processing effects (sun rays and depth of field) now appear. Glass effects also activate now.
The items mentioned above get increased except for texture filtering. The bloom and blur effects are now high-re solution.
I'm thinking about a new pc that can handle heavy multitasking which for me is just having 100-200 tabs open and being able to play roblox on max graphics settings.
For the ryzen 5 3600 it is a great cpu for almost any system, for buying a graphics card new, if your only playing roblox a 2060 or a 2060 super would get good to push those frames on roblox or just about any other game at decent settings
To find out what graphics card Roblox is currently using, please try the following: Open Roblox Studio. Open the Studio Settings. Click on Diagnostics. Scroll down to find the line labeled GfxCard. This will list what graphics card is currently in use by Roblox.
If you do not see “10" or above in the “DDI Version” or “Feature Levels” line, your graphics card does not support DX10 or higher and you will be unable to access the application.
It's possible your graphics card can't support 3D rendering at the color quality you use for normal desktop operation. You can try lowering the bit depth to 16 bits, to see if that helps.
