To completely enable/disable outlines on a given place, open it in ROBLOX Studio. Make sure the Explorer and Property panes are exposed (i.e., click View > Workspace and View > Properties) In the Explorer pane, click “Lighting”. Then, in the Properties pane, check or uncheck the “Outlines” box under Appearance.
It’s just so annoying when you are trying to really align a part to something and you can’t see because the big blue outline is in the way. Thank you for your support. Just did a quick google search. I’m pretty sure there isn’t any way to remove the blue outline whenever you select a part.

Maybe try contacting ROBLOX or a roblox developer to suggest this idea again. Haven't tested this method in quite some time but I imagine it still works. Yes, you absolutely can. But for selected objects, you can remove the animation and I believe you can change the transparency/ color of it as well if the blue bothers you. We have a winner.

In August 2013, it was announced on the Roblox blog that outlines would have an option to be disabled. On June 12, 2019, it was announced on the Developer Forum that outlines would be deprecated, and on July 1, 2019, they were fully deprecated. As of May 19, 2020, outlines have been removed.

The only way to get rid of this right now is to leave a one-pixel thin transparent border in the decal image; if we're rescaling decals to 256x256 on upload (OMG WHY) then it should be one-pixel thin in 256x256 (so you need a larger border if your source decal image is larger).

. This is a little late, but just so people know, I found a solution. You can set the part material to force field and set the part transparency to -100000000000. This should work.
The Explorer is a menu in Roblox Studio that shows the hierarchy of any "Instances" that are within your game. To open the Explorer, click the "View" tab in your toolbar at the top of your screen, then click on "Explorer".
