Select the message or chat you want to “delete” and look for the “archive” option on the navigation menu. This will allow you to archive a message, which will automatically move to the aforementioned section. Once again, a System message can indeed be erased without problems, but a message from a friend can't.
To edit and delete, you simply click the edit button then select any message you've sent, and change the title and/or message. To delete there can be a separate button for this, but I'd recommend being able to access it by also clicking the edit button.
Roblox has several ways to monitor account activity. While logged in, you can view the following histories from their related sections: Direct and small group chat (Chat feature found in the lower right corner of the apps). There you can see individual chat histories.
