Missions are a set of objectives that you would have to complete to receive special towers. Each mission will reward a number of EXP and Credits.
The Poseidon Mission was the first mission that was added into the game.
Note that missions that require you to use specific towers also apply to people you are playing with. If any of you don't meet the tower requirements, then neither of you get the rewards.
