Just use a center attachment to join the two ropes. No scripts needed; however, if your players start to lag i’d just log all the center parts and make them anchored and un-anchored by distance locally. Or as you said by wind disable them when it’s not windy and enable them when it is. But i’d try beams first to see how that goes. 2 Likes

How do you make a rope? Here is the answer. Let's start with the materials. You need a ball of slime and four strands. You can find Slimes near swamps and in caves . They are easily recognizable as a green block. Of course, you have to be careful, they are hostile.
Goes through all BasePart|Parts in the Model and creates joints between the specified Parts and any planar touching surfaces, depending on the parts’ surfaces. Studs, Inlet, or Universal will each create a Snap joint with either of other the other two surfaces (e.g. Studs with Inlet and Universal)
While the release of water marked a big step forward for ROBLOX, it has its limits; for example, if you want to create a propeller-powered boat, the propellers have to be on the side of the boat, as though they’re mimicking wheels on a car.
Advanced water physics ROBLOX’s water accurately simulates buoyancy, so objects float (or not) and orient themselves based on the density of their material makeup. But the current water simulation doesn’t take into account the angle at which objects move through water and the resulting amount of water viscosity (or resistance).

The BodyGyro object applies a torque (rotational force) on a BasePart such that it maintains a constant angular displacement, or orientation. This allows for the creation of parts that point in a certain direction, as if a real gyroscope were acting upon it.
Cylindrical Constraint. A pin or cylindrical constraint controls the axial movement of a cylindrical surface, while allowing angular movement, and keeping radial movement fixed.
This code sample demonstrates how joints can be made using the Model:MakeJoints function.
This code sample demonstrates creation of joints on two parts that are siblings of the script (PartA and PartB). It uses MakeJoints on two touching parts with compatible surface types (Studs and Inlet).
