What is a minimum amount of robux that I need to spend on ads/sponsor, and how many days should I do it for? In order to have a successful ad campaign, I recommend anywhere from 100k - 300k Robux. You should put these entirely into sponsored, as those are the most effective for games.
You have no business running ads until your game is making money. When that happens just put the robux earnings directly into ads. Any other way is going to be significantly more expensive. 22 Likes Teeter11
Do a soft launch first and spend maybe 1-3k robux on your first ad campaign to test the water, see if any bugs arise over the course of the day and see if your players actually like your game and if they are coming back to play it again. You can always spend more money on advertising later on.
How much do you generally spend on advertising?
15,000 is a good starting point, but if the game is good you can go too as little as 500 robux.
How much robux should I use for the advertisement? I would suggest starting off with around 500-1,000 but you should do what you can afford and to also be able to do it multiple times a week.
You may even be able to make Robux by bidding on ads for an item which other players may then purchase or visit.

For Roblox contents, Twitter will be the best place to advertise and show off your game to other Robloxians out there since most Roblox contents are already there for a long time. So, having an account for your game and advertise it with the hashtags such as #RobloxDev is actually a good way to advertise your game.
Ads can come in one of three dimensions. Tall, skinny vertical ads are 728 x 90 pixels, while horizontal “banner” style ads are 160 x 600 pixels. Lastly, the wider “square” ads are 300 x 250 pixels.
"Beat my high score" advertisements would usually show a button and a line of text such as "I bet you can't beat my high score of 9001 clicks!", encouraging the player to click on the button and try and beat that score. These types of ads are now prohibited on Roblox as of June 26, 2016.
Roblox earns about 48.9% of Robux revenue as profit. The other 51% is divided between the game developer, the App Store, and payment processing fees. Roblox makes up 35% of its revenue via Robux purchases from Apple's App Store and 19% of its revenue via purchases from the Google Play store.
For brands and retailers, Roblox presents fertile advertising ground — and an ethical minefield.
Once you have created the experience, group or piece of clothing of your dreams, it's time to get the word out so that other players can start enjoying the fruit of your labors. While word of mouth is a powerful tool on its own, Roblox offers several tools to help get you started. One of these tools is the User Ads feature.
Ads are images that players upload that can be use to promote their places, clothing, models, decals, groups, etc. These will be displayed at the top and sides of Roblox.com. When the image is clicked, it will take you to the thing that is being advertised.
