Using conversion of Roblox’s gravity property to real world: 1 stud = 5 centimeters Aye - I also compare things back to the actual sizing in game as I go along during creation, possibly alongside free models that people have made of a similar (or the same) model. Great link, just tested it and it does, indeed, divide to roughly 20.
I’m going to state that a Roblox staff member stated on a Support thread in the past that the official conversion rate was 1 stud for every 28cm. This is backed up if you go into game settings and do the math with the figures provided in the ‘World’ settings.
Studs are not popped out anymore and instead are textures on the block. The studs became circle studs, similar to LEGO. These studs have become a staple of older versions of Roblox. Studs have taken on a square form, now lacking any favicon or lettering on them.
Roblox's "O" favicon is removed from the studs and now resemble the studs from early 2009. Studs are blocky and stick out, resembling a smoother version of the original 2003 - 2005 studs. This section is a trivia section.
Divide the x or y size (in pixels) of the image by the corresponding side length (in studs) of the Part. e.g. (256 image pixels in y) / (10 Part studs in y) = 25.6 pixels per stud.
According to the ROBLOX Blog, 1 meter is equal to 20 ROBLOX studs, so a stud is 5 centimeters, and a real-life ROBLOXian (that is 5 studs tall) would be 25 centimeters, about 10 inches tall.
To summarise that post:Exporting to a mesh and measuring: 1 stud = 1 meter.Using conversion of Roblox's gravity property to real world: 1 stud = 5 centimeters.Using VR measurements: 1 stud = 33.4 centimeters.Trusting zeuxcg: 1 stud = 30 centimeters.
According to Roblox, 20 studs is a meter, so 20 studs is about 6/10000th of a mile. Velocity is how fast something goes in a second (correct me if i'm wrong). This means that you can convert this to an hour, by multiplying it by 60 for a minute and then 60 again for a mile.
1 stud = 5 centimeters. 20 studs = 1 meter. If we follow this scale up to the ranges we see in game, it's gonna be too small scaled since the models for robloxians are only 25cm tall. As such, I've decided to convert the scale for studs up to real life distances to give us a better understanding of distance.
This feature was removed in October 2013. Roblox is slowly phasing out studs, they no longer appear on newer created places but are still accessible through the surface tool.
According to newer ROBLOX measurements, 1 Stud is 0.28 meters. Therefore, a Roblox character (that is actually 5.5 studs tall) is 154 cm or 5 feet 1 inches tall.
Studs are vertical boards -- they are generally 2 x 4's, although they actually measure 1 1/2 inches thick and 3 1/2 wide -- and are installed at intervals inside a wall to strengthen it and support the wallboard, paneling or plaster.
The most common dimensions of wall studs are 2-by-6 and 2-by-4. Wall studs for standard walls of 8 feet are 92 5/8 inches. In homes with 9-foot walls, the studs are 104 5/8 inches. Homes with a wall height of 10 feet use pre-cut studs at 116 5/8 inches.
yes SPS stands for studs per second)
It was discovered by Roblox DevForum member XAXA, that in this new update one stud is now equal to 0.28 meters, meaning the average Robloxian that is 5-6 studs tall, now measures out to be a whopping 140-168 centimeters, or about 4 feet 7 inches – 5 feet 5 inches tall in the real world!
For all purposes except gravity, our scale is somewhere roughly 1 stud = 1 foot or 3 studs = 1 meter. This makes significantly more sense if you think of a Roblox character as being roughly human sized, instead of the size of a plush toy or very large action figure.
According to the ROBLOX Blog, 1 meter is equal to 20 ROBLOX studs, so a stud is 5 centimeters, and a real-life ROBLOXian (that is 5 studs tall) would be 25 centimeters, about 10 inches tall.
Based on that metric, there are 3 and 1/3 studs in a meter at default character scale. According to the ROBLOX Blog, 1 meter is equal to 20 ROBLOX studs, so a stud is 5 centimeters, and a real-life ROBLOXian (that is 5 studs tall) would be 25 centimeters, about 10 inches tall. According to the ROBLOX Blog, 1 meter is equal to 20 ROBLOX studs, so a stud is 5 centimeters, and a real-life ROBLOXian (that is 5 studs tall) would be 25 centimeters, about 10 inches tall. In real life, a ROBLOXian would probably only be about up to your calf.
A ROBLOXian can jump 7 studs off the ground, which is equivalent to 35 centimeters, or 1 foot 1 inch. This height falls 4 inches short of the human average for vertical jumping. ROBLOXians have a default walkspeed of 16, meaning that a ROBLOXian walks 16 studs per second.
The speed of a ROBLOXian is 1.8 miles per hour, while a human’s is 3.1 miles per hour. The Happy Home in Robloxia house is 56 studs long on every side, making it 9 feet on every side. This means it has an area of 81 feet.
