Your display name and username will be visible on Roblox and associated experiences You can only change your display name one time every seven days. Display names must follow Roblox Community Rules and terms of use or may be reset to your Username. Other players may also have the same display name.

Click the gear-icon, located to right of the place name, and click Configure. Once on this page, you can change the Name and Description by editing the corresponding boxes. Note: Names and descriptions must accurately describe the contents of your game and must otherwise meet our Roblox Community Rules .
On Roblox, you can change your account's username in the account settings. It costs Robux to make this change. However your Display Name is a free option to change how your name appears in an experience or game.
To get or change a Roblox Display Name, you should first log in to your Account Info (opens in new tab) page under Settings, then select the edit button next to the Display Name entry above your Username.

Use your first two initials (or both initials if you don't have a middle name) to make a nickname. For example, someone named "Thomas James" could be "TJ" or someone named "Mary Katharine" could go by "MK." Not all initials work as nicknames. Make sure yours rolls off the tongue.
Roblox now allows all users worldwide to change your Roblox account's display name in the account settings as a free feature. This is different than Changing a Username.
