Method one:
Uncopylocking does not allow other users to edit the existing place, but they can edit the file and create a place under their account or group. Checking copylocked to false and clicking save will make a confirmation pop up asking if you want to uncopylock your place.

Group it by selecting all of the parts in it, and pressing CTRL + G. Then right click, and press save to file. Then, go into your other game and right click on workspace, and press insert from file. And walah!
And if you're talking about copying and pasting a model into another place. I do this all the time, assuming you're talking about copying between two open studio sessions: Ctrl + C on selected Parts / Models. Right click and “Paste Into” a data model of your choosing.
You can use this plugin and select your terrain click copy then paste it into your new studio and open the plugin and click import. It will have everything transferred over such as the colors and terrain design. If you referring to roblox terrain and not part terrain.

If you are just looking into copying a map, then you can simply copy it and paste it or export it as a . rbxm . It is actually possible to copy terrain, just not the way you would think. There is a tutorial on YouTube that shows how to change the terrain of a game from one game to another.
How to upload an already made place into a place that is not a starting place? Open your game's main place in Roblox Studio, open Game Explorer, right-click “Places,” and click “Add new place.” Then open your place file and publish it over the place you created.
