Clay is a resource in Roblox's Islands aka Skyblock that can be used to create bricks or colored clay blocks. These are useful for building stylish new areas of your island! We'll take a look at what you need to do to get clay in the game. There's only one real way to get clay right now and that's to purchase yourself a Clay Totem.
The clay deposit is an unused block in Islands . The clay deposit is not used in-game and can only be spawned in by developers. It was most likely scrapped in favor of making clay naturally generate in ponds . Community content is available under CC-BY-SA unless otherwise noted.
They can be broken with a pickaxe. Mining a clay rock grants a total of 2 clay. Clay totems can be purchased from the Arius for 10,000 coins. A clay totem will spawn rocks of clay around it when placed, or if placed next to a conveyor belt, the totem will drop clay directly onto the conveyor.
The totem will spawn clay nodes in the area around it which you can then mine yourself or let the totem itself collect some. If you get really fancy, you can put a conveyor next to the totem, hook it up to a chest, and automatically collect the clay that way!
Mining. Clay rocks naturally generate underwater in the Hub Lake. Mining a clay rock yields 1 - 2 clay after each stage and 3 Mining XP (9 with the 4x daily bonus), resulting in a total of 2 - 4 clay and 9 Mining XP (18 with the 4x daily bonus) per rock.
Dirt piles cannot be obtained as an inventory item. Pigs dig close to trees and create dirt piles at the digging location.
Smelting. Clay can be smelted into bricks in a campfire, small furnace, blast furnace, desert furnace, or industrial smelter.
Only a few plants, such as coconut (ni), Pandanus (bob), and arrowroot (mok-mok), could be grown on the lower rainfall atolls, although adequate groundwater conditions also allowed taro (iaraj, kotak, wot) to be cultivated.
Spirit seeds are seeds used to grow spirit crops.
There's only one real way to get clay right now and that's to purchase yourself a Clay Totem. This item is one of the most costly in the game and will set you back 10,000 coins. The totem will spawn clay nodes in the area around it which you can then mine yourself or let the totem itself collect some.
To get a Buffalkor Crystal, you will need to kill Buffalkors and get one to drop it as loot. This is an extremely rare drop, so you might be after it for a while.

The mining area is located behind Arius. Here, rocks of stone, coal, and iron ore spawn. The rocks can be mined by players with an axe or pickaxe, although the latter is significantly more efficient.
To the left of Arius is a small pond which can be used for fishing. No ores spawn there.
On the snowy tops of the mountain behind the Fishing Lake, piles of snow spawn. Snow can be dug up with a stone shovel or a Christmas shovel .
The main area is the first thing the player sees when arriving to the Hub. Some of the villagers on the island are located in this area.
Arius is located near Taliyah. To his right is a place full of ores. The building behind him is only for decorative purposes and it cannot be entered.
Thomas is located between the Slime Island portal and the Fishing Pond. Players can sell fish to Thomas for coins. The building is only for decorative purposes and cannot be entered.
Hannah is located in front of the pirate ship west of the main area. Players can interact with her to go to Pirate Island and vice versa.
