The Alt + Enter keyboard shortcut is the quickest way to go full screen in an application or game. Unless they use it to unlock other features, this strategy works for most games and apps. The shortcut can also be used to go from full-screen to windowed mode.
Press F11 or ESC to exit full screen. Load into a baseplate, click the view tab up the top, then select fullscreen.
Note: If the game still opens in windowed mode after completing both solutions, locate the full screen option within the games settings/options menu and ensure the box is ticked. The game should now change to full screen mode.

To maximize a window, grab the titlebar and drag it to the top of the screen, or just double-click the titlebar. To maximize a window using the keyboard, hold down the Super key and press ↑ , or press Alt + F10 .
