Using the Roblox Advertising System
Do a soft launch first and spend maybe 1-3k robux on your first ad campaign to test the water, see if any bugs arise over the course of the day and see if your players actually like your game and if they are coming back to play it again. You can always spend more money on advertising later on.
How can you build your own Roblox studio content?
To start a new sponsorship:From the Create page, select Experiences.Find the experience you'd like to sponsor and click the Sponsor button.Supply all of the requested info for the sponsored ad and click Preview Your Ad.On the next page, you'll see an ad preview and a summary. To start running the ad, click Run.
Ads are images that players upload that can be use to promote their places, clothing, models, decals, groups, etc. These will be displayed at the top and sides of Roblox.com. When the image is clicked, it will take you to the thing that is being advertised.
If you spend about 150-250 Robux per ad per 24hr period, you would get anywhere between 12k - 17k impressions, depending on what ad design you choose; banner, skyscraper or rectangle. Also depending on the day. Good Luck! If you do decide to run ads, you should really change the first thumbnail players see.
For Roblox contents, Twitter will be the best place to advertise and show off your game to other Robloxians out there since most Roblox contents are already there for a long time. So, having an account for your game and advertise it with the hashtags such as #RobloxDev is actually a good way to advertise your game.
"Beat my high score" advertisements would usually show a button and a line of text such as "I bet you can't beat my high score of 9001 clicks!", encouraging the player to click on the button and try and beat that score. These types of ads are now prohibited on Roblox as of June 26, 2016.
