As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to play audio in Studio. There is one method to play audio in Studio ( SoundService:PlayLocalSound (SoundObject) ), but it’s incredibly limited: It can only play the sound. It doesn’t respect any of the Sound object’s properties. It just plays it at a Volume of 1 and a PlaybackSpeed of 1.

Why did Roblox Remove Audios? In a nutshell, Roblox has removed audios/music from experiences because of the new & major privacy settings changes. This has been done to protect the rights of the content creator and most likely, also to protect the platform from copyright-related issues.
Description: This property is the content ID of the sound file a Sound object is associated with. Once a sound has been uploaded to Roblox the content ID can be found in the uploaded sound's URL.
As of December 1, 2016, the audio limit has been increased to 7 minutes. On an unknown date in late 2018, the cost for audio was changed to 35 Robux instead of 75 for audio length ranging from 59 seconds to 2 minutes. Later in 2019, the cost for that length is now 70 Robux.

Roblox offers developers many ways to make their experiences immersive and dynamic. One of these ways is through the use of audio, which players can add to their places as background music, narration, sound effects and more!
Players can upload mp3s or OGG files. Please be aware that attempting to upload in any other format runs the risk of error where the file will not function properly.
Uploading can easily be done through the roblox.com website. To do this:
Once uploaded, the audio file can be further customized on the Configure page. To locate this page, click on the gear-icon located to the right of the uploaded file in the Audio tab of your Create section.
There are a number of creative ways that our developers can use sound. For details on how to do this, please see the Sounds and Music Developer Hub article .

As nearly half of Roblox's player base consists of users over the age of 13, how to properly manage the safety of younger users has remained a concern. In a blog post, Roblox stated that the spatial voice feature will only be accessible to those who have verified that they are over the age of 13.
Once you've verified your age, voice chat can be toggled on and off within the setting menu. On PC, look for the gear icon in the upper right hand corner, then from the drop down menu click Settings. From settings, locate the Privacy tab from the menu on the left.
As of now, there's been no official statement regarding what can and can't be said over voice chat. Currently, swearing receives no form of punishment or censoring by Roblox—this will more than likely change however as the kinks continue to be worked out.
Whether you view it as unfortunate or not, not every Roblox experience will feature voice chat compatibility. The decision is completely up the individual game developers as to whether or not they want to allow it. If you're looking for a game to try out voice chat, Mic Up appears to be the current favorite.
