You can put an R6 character into StarterPlayer named StarterCharacter which will establish an R6 rig for when you do a Humanoid:ApplyDescription () but you have the same initial Gear problem. Basically the problem is that Roblox didn’t break-out the pieces of LoadCharacter ()
