Operating system requirements
This summer, as we ratcheted up development efforts for ROBLOX on mobile devices and tablets, we found the software we use to compile our code was only compatible with either Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) or mobile devices. We were faced with a tough decision: maintain a separate code base for OS X 10.5 or discontinue support for it.

OS X 10.5 users will still be able to browse Roblox.com and participate in all web-based features. Our analytics show less than 1% of ROBLOX players use OS X 10.5. Check to make sure that the Roblox icon is currently on your Dock and the Roblox Application is showing in your Applications folder. Try launching the program from the Dock if you're having a problem playing an experience from the website. Try fully resetting your Roblox settings by deleting the settings files.

If your device isn't very powerful when it comes to playing Roblox, this often results in stuttering / choppy visuals. For this situation, check your Roblox graphics level. While playing, open the in-experience menu by pressing the Esc key. Under the GRAPHICS section, you can check the graphics level of Roblox.
The MacBook Air is not a good machine to play games on. The videocard will have to work overtime, heat up, and the fan will run at max speed trying to keep it cool. Your Mac has several sensors to protect it from overheating, so you can keep on gaming, and if anything overheats, your Mac will shut down.
