In my opinion, it would seem like it isnt illegal. Under tradmark and copyright law, Blizzard owns all in game assets of the game. so that might mean that selling any in game item for real money would be illegal. but I would say that Blizzard doesn't own each individual account.

Yes it is. If someone could prove it to any extent, then their account is good as gone. Trading/selling is against ToS and those accounts are most likely stolen and poisoned. is there a reason people do this? whats the point of even buying a roblox account.
