On March 15, 2016, Roblox announced through a blog post that tickets would be discontinued the following month, claiming that the currency was causing "confusion and delay" for many first-time users.
Users could also convert Tix into Robux using the trade menu. Contrary to popular belief, it was not at a fixed rate. 10 Tix was equal to 1 Robux initially, and hovered around 14-17 Tix for 1 Robux toward the end of the Trade Currency app.
Users and developers can no longer sell items for Tickets. Items with a Ticket and a ROBUX price will be available for the ROBUX price. Items with a Ticket price will have their price converted to ROBUX at a rate of 17:1. Tickets will no longer be visible or usable.
A Roblox Twitter account, Roblox Predictions V2, has stated that Roblox will try to bring back a feature that was removed from the game. This has led many players to believe that Tix might be coming back to the game. However, it is quite less likely that Tix will be coming back.
Many players claim there is one free way to earn Robux and it is through a Robux Generator. However, these don't actually exist and can do more harm than good. They claim they generate you free Robux, but in reality, they are just a scam.
The Guest (formerly called the Player) was a feature created for the intended use of letting newcomers test Roblox before making an official account. They were first introduced on September 26, 2008. The guest feature on PC was removed on October 2, 2017.
On December 11, 2012, an iOS version of Roblox was released, and on July 16, 2014, an Android version was released. On October 1, 2013, Roblox released its Developer Exchange program, allowing developers to exchange Robux earned from their games into real-world currencies.
