If you get reported on Roblox, a couple of things take place. Firstly, the moment you are banned by another player/user, the reports are sent to Roblox. The sent report is then read by the relevant authorities.
What common types of scam are there?
Usually you get two warnings before a temporary ban. Generally your first ban will be about 3 and 1/2 days, so it isn't that long. If you do something really severe though, you might get banned immediately, and each time you get banned the time increases.
1 day ban - 24 hours from the time the moderation was initiated. 3 day ban - 72 hours from the time the moderation was initiated. 7 day ban - 1 week from the time the moderation was initiated. Deletion - The account has been closed and can not automatically be reopened.
The only way you can find out if someone was banned in Roblox is if the ban took place during a game. In this case, the administrator of the game issues a penalty. According to the subsequent actions (or rather inaction) of the offending player, you can determine whether or not they were banned.
Sending in a report does not mean the reported user will automatically be suspended; it means one of our moderators will look at the report and decide on the proper response. In other words, even if someone is reported, as long as the person is not breaking the rules their account will not be moderated.
Bans can be severe or minor depending on the offense. Users can be banned for different lengths of time. Users who violate Roblox's Terms of Use will be given one of these bans. These can range from in-experience bans to permanent IP bans.
Creating an account solely for violating the platform's rules. Sharing information that relates to dating, relationships, or sex. Discussing or posting about inappropriate topics, such as drugs. Swearing or using profanities.
You can contact the Roblox Appeals team to review the situation if your account has been banned or moderated. The Appeals team will give the moderation a second look and make any necessary adjustments to your account's moderation status. Submitting an appeal does not guarantee your ban will be removed.
Serious or repeated violations of the Terms of Service and/or violation of federal law will immediately result in account deletion.
The Report Abuse button, seen in 2007. The Report Abuse button (which is now a GUI) was released on January 31, 2007, and was the first way a user could report someone for breaking the rules. Once the main HUD's button is pressed, a box entitled 'Report Abuse' will ask for a description of the incident and what category it falls under.
However, others say that rule-breakers' reports do get read, however, it may take a long time. Some players also criticise that there are a limited amount of moderators to read reports. Some players also believe that reporting only checks the chat log, which they say that exploiters may not be caught.
The most common type of false reporting is to report a player for killing another, especially if they are skilled at the particular game's combat system. Usually, the hope is that the reported player will be mistaken for a hacker and banned for exploiting, but this rarely actually happens. Beyond that, there are also cases where something is against the rules in the specific game but not across all of Roblox — for example, many building games that lack proper griefing protection will use in-game bans to punish players for destroying others' work, but victims of griefing will commonly and mistakenly use Roblox's report system instead of the developer's, creating what is technically also a false report.
This is where a player knowingly and intentionally reports another as an act of revenge, usually for trivial things such as a disagree ment, leaving a group, or for making a more successful game.
Again, the victim is less likely to be banned, since bans for "fal se reporting" are actually rare. Sometimes, the victim might fight back, and file a report against the perpetrator which is named "Revenge Reporting", after the perpetrator filed the report on the victim.
If you have read Roblox's safety rules, they say that if anyone claims to say they're the administrator when they aren't, players will have to report them and Roblox will check the bad behavior out.
You can be banned up to a week for even the smallest of offenses, so be sure to read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy of ROBLOX before playing.
Most Robloxians use cuss words, but remember that Roblox is for people of the ages 8-22+. There are little kids playing, too, and you don't want to ruin their childhood. There is a filter in place that stops most swear words, and no harm will come to you if you make sure your swear words are filtered in Studio first ...

Don't use copyrighted materials for your games. Roblox is currently tracking any copyrighted games down which will result in 3 strikes. 1st strike is a warning. 2 more strikes will result in account deletion. Thanks! If you report someone for any reason, they won't get banned straight away.
Remember that Roblox can read the chat log for proof . If you make games about sex, you will have a 98% chance that your game will be taken down and will be either warned or banned once the Roblox staff receives a complaint from a user about your sexual games and has been reviewed.
