Moderators are members of the Roblox staff team who moderate the website to ensure assets and other player-generated content, such as forum posts, thumbnails, decals and any other graphical content remained safe and appropriate for all Roblox players. Moderators have the ability to delete content that violates the Roblox Terms of Service.
Whenever you create a shirt or anything else that lets you upload an image, that image is shown to a moderator to make sure it is acceptable for Roblox, after it goes through a filter to screen for obvious inappropriate content such as images of sexual content. If it breaks any rules then it is removed immediately.
There is a team at Roblox dedicated to managing moderation policies (called the 'Trust and Safety team'), however they do not in most cases moderate themselves, bar a few serious incidents (e.g. high-profile users/situations, child safety, etc.).
It is said that the Developer / Community Engagement Teams are the main driving force behind moderation, however this is false, as most Roblox moderation is now outsourced to a third party agency; these third-party moderators work on multiple sites with different guidelines (possibly the reason why many people consider Roblox's moderation bad).
The official position of a Roblox Moderator has since been removed, as all Roblox employees are now formally recognized as administrators.
The Roblox moderation system will block accounts from Roblox that violate the Terms of Use (ToU) or Community Rules. The length of time an account is blocked depends on the severity of the behavior. Here are the levels: Warning - A user can get back into their account right away if they agree to the ToU.
The estimated total pay for a Moderator at Roblox is $51 per hour. This number represents the median, which is the midpoint of the ranges from our proprietary Total Pay Estimate model and based on salaries collected from our users. The estimated base pay is $51 per hour.
Moderators look at a wide range of content throughout the day, including video, comments and anything that involves language. We also give users the ability to report other users if they're misbehaving. Many times, users report a user for being mean or rude sometime after the event.
We have a lot of LGBTQ+ people working at Roblox, and we know that a huge number of our players are also part of that community. I want LGBTQ+ kids to know that you are never “inappropriate” for being who you are. Video games are a reflection of how we want to see the world and who we want to be.
How many alerts (warnings if your familiar with roblox) until a block (is that a ban or an account deletion/terminated) Usually you get two warnings before a temporary ban. Generally your first ban will be about 3 and 1/2 days, so it isn't that long.
Roblox is a great place to work, and we love to see enthusiastic people join our company. Please keep in mind you must be 18 years of age or older to work for Roblox.

With the change to the badge system, all former badges that were related to Roblox staff were replaced with the brand new administrator badge. There are plenty of Moderators on Roblox but most are currently unknown as they don't own the Administrator badge and many are kept secret so perpentrators don't try to hack them. [citation needed]
I'm homeless now, I'm a rouge, I fight for my live, the only thing I own is a laptop where I wrote this documentary so you can see how bad it is...
On the news it has been exposed that there was some strange CIA affiliated organization partnering with Roblox Corporations to use unethical ethics experiments on certain Roblox users by inviting to become a 'Moderator' in which they would test if they would cause harm to innocents in order for their account, or more importantly, their lives.
The organization was found out to NOT be affiliated with the CIA, and instead a criminal company that 'pretends' to be affiliated. It was also found out that if the CIA actually did this only the United States would be an area of effect, not an outside country like the United Kingdom.
What...? Old Roblox is... back? Tix is back, build mode is back, the gamer badges are back, guests are back... Its just like 2012 but with modern graphics.. I feel so happy. Thank you Roblox for coming back!!!!

Roblox's popularity has been increasing over the last few months. However, many players allege that the community of players playing the multi-arcade game is still as toxic and problematic as it was back in the day.
According to the tweet, the word gay is often used as a 'slur,' and this is offensive to the LGBTQ+ community. Thus, the developers have banned the use of the word "gay" apart from self-declarations. Here is an explanation why the word “gay” is banned on Roblox, first screenshot is from a support ticket by @Crashstyler747_ and ...
Even though Roblox developers said it was okay to use the word in cases of self-declaration, many users pointed out that typing "I am gay" also gets censored in-game.
With this still happening amidst the awareness that exists about sexual orientations in 2021, players feel Roblox is homophobic. Roblox support recently took to Twitter to explain why the word gay is banned in the game.
Clearly, things did not turn out the way Roblox developers wanted them to. Considering "gay" as a slur in 2021 is certainly homophobic, Robox might need to tweak its ToS to adjust to the times.
Administrators are employees of ROBLOX Corporation who assist in maintaining the ROBLOX service. Contrary to popular belief, not all administrators are responsible for moderation .
