As of March 22, Roblox has adjusted privacy settings for audio files on its platform. According to a blog post, "all new audio uploaded will be Private and all existing audio longer than [six] seconds will be set to Private."
Roblox is a popular online game platform and game creation system that allows various users to create games and play games created by other users. Before this change, users could use music, sound effects, ambient noise, etc., that wasn’t directly created and uploaded by its developer. However, this will soon change with Roblox Audio Removal.
In an unexpected turn of events, Roblox Corporation has decided to set all Roblox audio to private, meaning that only the audio owners will be able to use it in their games. This will apply to all the new audios uploaded as well.
All of the Roblox official licensed catalog of Music and SFX will remain Public and usable by developers in any of their experiences. Audio privacy is intended to give you control over where and how your audio assets are used.
In a nutshell, Roblox has removed audios/music from experiences because of the new & major privacy settings changes. This has been done to protect the rights of the content creator and most likely, also to protect the platform from copyright-related issues.
Simply take the Audio ID from the Library and put into the URL. The Roblox sound will then be accessible to play in the browser, download the file or parse. Hope this helps!
You can't access the Roblox application's volume but consider using SoundGroups. You can set all your game's sounds to one SoundGroup or split them up into categories and then set the SoundGroup's volume to 0 when you need everything muted. It'll achieve the exact same effect.

If you are playing Roblox through the mobile app on your iPhone or Android phone, you can resolve the issue by installing available updates. Navigate to the Store or Apps section of your device. Look for the Roblox app. Check if there are available updates.

Copyrighted audio removal On May 30, 2018, Roblox announced on the Developer Forum that they would begin automatically removing any copyrighted audio (that is not part of Roblox's licensed audio library) from the site on June 18.
Copyrighted audio may take a turn for the worse. All music may be becoming private and unusable unless it was directly uploaded by the game creator. This could mean the end of boomboxes as we know it. My thoughts on the Roblox audio update.
Raining Tacos got replaced by Joyride in order to avoid copyright issues. Raining Tacos came back, along with its easy mode, with the description changed that used to say "This song became popular on ROBLOX after CloneTrooper1019 made a place that exclusively looped the song temporarily reached the front page.
Why did Roblox remove guests? The main reason Roblox decided to remove the guest feature was that it was being used primarily to spoil other players' enjoyment. Though there were some genuine beginners playing as Roblox guests, it was experienced Roblox players who used the guest feature to evade bans.
Roblox offers developers many ways to make their experiences immersive and dynamic. One of these ways is through the use of audio, which players can add to their places as background music, narration, sound effects and more!
Players can upload mp3s or OGG files. Please be aware that attempting to upload in any other format runs the risk of error where the file will not function properly.
Uploading can easily be done through the roblox.com website. To do this:
Once uploaded, the audio file can be further customized on the Configure page. To locate this page, click on the gear-icon located to the right of the uploaded file in the Audio tab of your Create section.
There are a number of creative ways that our developers can use sound. For details on how to do this, please see the Sounds and Music Developer Hub article .
