In a nutshell, Roblox has removed audios/music from experiences because of the new & major privacy settings changes. This has been done to protect the rights of the content creator and most likely, also to protect the platform from copyright-related issues.
This means that a real-life Robloxian would be 1.4 meters, or 140 centimeters tall.
Rthro (previously known as Anthro) is the 2nd most recent addition to avatar types for Roblox, first revealed during Roblox Developers Conference 2017. The term "Rthro" is most likely a portmanteau of the words Roblox and anthropomorphic.
Its beta version, DynaBlocks, was launched in 2004. It was renamed to Roblox in 2005, due to the name being hard to remember.
Say hello to the R15 avatar. As the name suggests, the new R15 avatar is composed of 15 body parts as opposed to the 6 seen in our previous iteration.
The R15 avatar is available for anyone to use, and it’s completely optional. You can switch back and forth between R6 and R15 at any time. If your accessory isn’t working properly on the R15 avatar, don’t worry. We are currently working on fixing all assets so they attach properly to your character.
Please keep in mind that the R15 avatar is still a work in progress. What this means is that although you can continue to use all of your accessories as-is on the R15 avatar, they may not fit as optimally as they should on your character right now. All hats, packages, gear, and other assets will work correctly in time.
R15 allows you to dive into realism, which can improve quality. However, to make quality GFX with R15 style, you will spend more time. R6 GFXs are mostly used in RP games or games like Murder Mystery. I personally think, that R15 are better.
R6 can be easily rigged and used to create relatively complex poses but as far as I know has textures lower resolution textures compared to R15 (At least when it comes to faces)
Most GFX artists don’t use R6 or R15, they use a custom Rig, that can bend it’s limbs. You need a R6 Texture to apply to the custom rig, so that’s why people export their characters in R6. I personally prefer R15 GFX’s since they are more customisable than R6 in a sense.
So, if you’re doing a GFX with Paint RIG then you must use R6 as the Rig will make it work like R15. If you want to make good looking GFX renders then I’d definitely recommend using the Paint RIG for that you have to use R6 character. Trust me, it’ll look great.
Like other online communities, Roblox uses common internet slang and slang exclusive to the community. These are words commonly used in the Roblox community, including slang.
Camper - a term used in Roblox FPS games, mostly Murder Mystery 2, It means when a player stays in one spot and waits for players/enemies to walk past him/her before attacking. DD - Dishonorably discharged. Mainly used in military roleplay games, it means that a player has been demoted or told to leave.
BA - Bad Alien. Since a Roblox administrator accidentally called Alan ( JacksSmirkingRevenge) "Alien", this abbreviation was in popular use during TNL Twitch live streams. It has since fallen out of use and is rarely used. Banned forever - Termination of a Roblox account, phrase popularized by Roblox YouTuber Faave.
Beamed - Usually refers to limited items being stolen from an account (e.g. "Beamed by Kareem"). Bloxxed - Refers to when a player has been killed or defeated by another player, since R6 avatars are usually dismembered upon death, causing the "blocks" that make up their bodies to fall to the ground.
